Job Description

Career.supersecrets is actively seeking a talented and highly motivated Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Akwanga, Nasarawa. This crucial role is instrumental in planning, executing, and overseeing a diverse range of events for our clients, from corporate gatherings and community engagements to social celebrations and workshops. As an Events Coordinator, you will be the linchpin in ensuring every event runs smoothly, reflecting our clients’ visions and exceeding attendee expectations. You will be responsible for managing all logistical aspects, from initial concept development to post-event evaluation, working collaboratively with various stakeholders to bring ideas to life. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a variety of events, including corporate meetings, workshops, community festivals, and private functions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and budget.
  • Coordinate all logistical elements such as venue selection, vendor management (catering, decor, audiovisual), equipment setup, and transportation.
  • Develop detailed event proposals, timelines, budgets, and post-event reports.
  • Manage guest lists, invitations, and registration processes, ensuring a seamless attendee experience.
  • Oversee on-site event operations, including staff supervision, troubleshooting, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all requirements are met and expectations are managed.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and venues to secure the best services and rates.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and measure success against KPIs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in event management to continuously innovate and enhance event offerings.
  • Prepare promotional materials and marketing content for events in collaboration with marketing teams.

Required Skills
