Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, and filling cracks.
- Mix and match paint colors according to project specifications and client preferences.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and basic spray equipment.
- Safely erect and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and other access equipment.
- Protect surrounding areas, furniture, and fixtures with drop cloths, tarps, and masking tape.
- Inspect work for quality and address any imperfections or touch-ups as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines on job sites.
- Clean up job sites thoroughly after project completion, disposing of waste properly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other trades to ensure project milestones are met.
