Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer informed recommendations on food and beverages.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions, using a POS system or manual tickets.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure accuracy, presentation standards, and proper temperature.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and respond to any additional requests or concerns efficiently and courteously.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting dining area.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and manage receipts.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Assist with general restaurant duties as needed, including stocking supplies, polishing cutlery, and light cleaning tasks.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and preferably local languages (e.g., Igbo).
- Strong customer service orientation with a pleasant and approachable demeanor.
