Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods, documents, and personnel as per assigned schedules and routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal working condition and reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents encountered on the road.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Ensure the security and integrity of transported items, handling them with care to prevent damage or loss.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
- Assist with loading and unloading items as required, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E minimum)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in logistics or corporate settings.
- Thorough knowledge of Abuja road networks and traffic regulations.
- Proven clean driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks (oil, water, tires, lights).
