Job Description
Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our thriving team in Dubai. This pivotal role involves leading the design process from concept to completion for a diverse portfolio of high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the entire interior design process from initial concept development through to final installation, ensuring alignment with client briefs and company standards.
- Develop detailed design presentations, including mood boards, material palettes, 3D renderings, and technical drawings (CAD/Revit) for client and stakeholder approval.
- Manage client relationships, including initial consultations, design presentations, feedback integration, and project updates.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and construction supervision to ensure design integrity and quality of execution.
- Specify, source, and procure furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and materials, adhering to project budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Ensure all designs comply with local regulations and building codes in Dubai.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of high-end interior design projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- NCIDQ certification or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Experience with BIM software (e.g., Revit).
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification.
- Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
