Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Manage inventory control processes, ensuring accuracy and conducting regular stock audits.
- Coordinate and schedule efficient delivery routes for both local and interstate shipments.
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing real-time updates and resolving transit issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive logistics documentation, including waybills, invoices, and customs declarations (if applicable).
- Utilize Logistics Management Systems (LMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for optimal operational efficiency.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Conduct performance reviews of logistics vendors and negotiate contracts for favorable terms.
- Train and supervise junior logistics staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Deep understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in Logistics Management Systems (LMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
