Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and guest preferences.
- Interact with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations on drinks and menu items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, operating the POS system.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene responsibly when necessary.
- Restock bar inventory, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes.
- Ensure all bar equipment is clean, in good working order, and properly maintained.
- Assist with inventory counts and reporting as required.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues when needed.
- Resolve guest complaints professionally and courteously, escalating issues to management when appropriate.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bar Attendant or Bartender in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and classic cocktail preparation.
