Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team in Gwarimpa, Abuja. This pivotal professional role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our warehouse operations and delivery logistics, ensuring seamless flow from inventory receipt to final customer delivery. You will play a critical part in maintaining high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain principles, warehouse management, and transportation logistics, with a proven track record of implementing effective solutions.
Your day-to-day will involve meticulously planning and executing delivery schedules, managing warehouse inventory, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation and warehouse activities.
- Manage warehouse inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective product distribution.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all logistics activities, including waybills, invoices, and shipping records.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and security protocols within the warehouse and during transit.
- Analyze logistics data to identify performance gaps and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare reports on logistics activities, costs, and performance metrics for management review.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Train and supervise junior logistics staff or warehouse personnel as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and logistics software.
- Strong knowledge of Gwarimpa and Abuja road networks and logistics infrastructure.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
