Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand project scope, objectives, and creative vision for events and commercial shoots.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including equipment selection, location scouting, and shot list development.
- Execute high-quality photography for a variety of assignments, including corporate events, private functions, product photography, lifestyle shoots, and brand campaigns.
- Utilize professional camera equipment, lighting setups, and other accessories effectively to achieve desired results.
- Perform advanced post-production work, including culling, editing, retouching, and color grading using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
- Deliver final edited images in specified formats and within agreed-upon deadlines.
- Manage and organize photographic assets efficiently.
- Maintain professional demeanor and communication with clients, subjects, and event organizers.
- Continuously update portfolio with new work and stay abreast of industry trends and techniques.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional events and commercial photographer with a strong portfolio.
- Expertise in digital photography, including camera operation (DSLR/Mirrorless), lighting techniques, and composition.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for advanced photo editing and retouching.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and branding principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
- Ownership of professional-grade photography equipment (camera bodies, lenses, flashes, tripods, etc.).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by events.
