Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and engage with customers upon their arrival, offering enthusiastic assistance.
- Actively listen to customer needs and preferences to provide tailored product recommendations and styling advice.
- Achieve and consistently exceed individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including handling cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
- Maintain an impeccably organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor, fitting rooms, and display areas.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, ticketing, and merchandising new inventory, ensuring products are always available and properly displayed.
- Proactively restock merchandise on shelves, racks, and display units to maintain store standards.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and complaints with professionalism, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Stay informed about current fashion trends, product features, benefits, and pricing to confidently assist customers.
- Promote store loyalty programs, special offers, and upcoming promotions to maximize customer engagement.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive work atmosphere.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales-oriented role, preferably in retail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong sales drive and a customer-first mindset.
- Basic mathematical skills and comfort with operating a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A genuine passion for fashion, clothing, and helping others look and feel their best.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 kg, and move merchandise around the store.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail clothing or fashion environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices and visual merchandising techniques.
- Experience with CRM systems for clienteling and customer relationship management.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
