Your duties will include meticulous planning of routes to maximize efficiency, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness, and accurately managing delivery documentation. Key Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
- Perform timely pick-ups and deliveries, adhering to scheduled routes and timeframes.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure proper loading, unloading, and securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery status or any unforeseen delays.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the company vehicle.
- Assist with other logistical tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (e.g., Class B/G for commercial use)
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional driving experience
