Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and pressing equipment according to safety guidelines.
- Sort and separate all laundry items (linens, towels, uniforms, guest clothing) by type, color, and fabric.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, and wear, treating stains effectively and reporting damaged items.
- Fold, stack, and hang clean linen, ensuring they are stored neatly and ready for use.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including equipment and floors.
- Adhere strictly to all hygiene, health, and safety regulations and procedures.
- Monitor and manage laundry supplies, reporting low stock levels to supervisors.
