Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and delivery.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies using WMS/ERP systems.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and vehicle utilization to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to resolve delivery issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and process all necessary logistics documentation, including waybills, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Train and supervise warehouse staff and delivery personnel on best practices and operational procedures.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layout and organization for optimal space utilization and accessibility.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to deliveries and logistics, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Strong understanding of transportation logistics, route planning, and delivery coordination.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
