Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, dispatching, and managing returns.
- Coordinate and schedule local and inter-state deliveries, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock checks, and system reconciliation.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
- Monitor and report on key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, inventory accuracy, and transportation costs.
- Optimize storage space utilization and warehouse layout for maximum efficiency.
- Prepare all necessary shipping documentation, manifests, and reports.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage logistics workflows.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance logistics operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, specifically in warehouse and delivery management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
