Key Responsibilities
- Wash and properly store all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and work surfaces.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and portioning ingredients.
- Organize and put away deliveries in storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers, ensuring proper rotation.
- Empty trash receptacles and manage waste according to established procedures.
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Clean kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, griddles, and fryers as needed.
- Support the culinary team with any additional tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
