Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead waiters in providing prompt and courteous service to guests.
- Set up dining tables meticulously, ensuring all cutlery, glassware, and condiments are clean and properly arranged.
- Clear tables efficiently after guests depart, ensuring rapid turnover and preparation for new diners.
- Refill water glasses, bread baskets, and other guest requests promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, including sweeping, wiping tables, and general upkeep.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding guest orders, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
- Polish cutlery and glassware to ensure they meet hygiene and presentation standards.
- Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties during peak hours or as needed.
- Ensure all service stations are stocked and organized throughout the shift.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with the entire restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere.
