Career.supersecrets is seeking a motivated and talented Junior Architect to join our dynamic team in Fujairah. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent graduate or an architect with limited experience to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a vibrant and growing market. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to various stages of architectural projects, from conceptual design to construction documentation. We are looking for someone with a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow within the architectural field. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing architectural drawings, preparing presentations, conducting site visits, and ensuring adherence to local building codes and regulations. Your creativity and technical skills will be essential in helping us deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions to our clients across Fujairah and the wider UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior architects in the conceptualization and development of architectural designs.
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, schematics, and construction documents using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project coordination sessions.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and prepare reports to assess project progress and compliance.
- Research and incorporate relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles into projects.
- Develop 3D models and renderings for project visualization and presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical) to integrate systems into architectural designs.
- Prepare material specifications and schedules.
- Support the team in administrative tasks related to project management and documentation.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends, software, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and design concepts.
- Excellent visual and spatial awareness.
- Ability to interpret and develop construction documents.
- Basic knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 0-2 years of professional experience in an architectural firm.
- Proficiency in 3D rendering software such as SketchUp, V-Ray, or Lumion.
- Portfolio demonstrating design capabilities and technical skills.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
