We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Gardener to join a dynamic team in Falaj Al Mualla, Umm Al Quwain. Key Responsibilities
- Perform planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, watering, and fertilizing of plants, trees, and shrubs.
- Maintain lawns through regular mowing, edging, and trimming, ensuring a neat and well-kept appearance.
- Operate and maintain a variety of gardening tools and light machinery, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools, ensuring their proper use and safety.
- Diagnose and treat plant diseases and pest infestations using appropriate methods and products.
- Manage irrigation systems, including setting timers, checking for leaks, and performing minor repairs.
- Prepare planting beds and containers, ensuring proper soil composition and drainage.
- Implement landscape designs and carry out garden renovation projects as required.
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all garden areas, including debris removal and waste disposal.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing duties.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or significant plant health issues to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in gardening and landscape maintenance
- Knowledge of various plant species, their care requirements, and common pests/diseases in the UAE climate
- Proficiency in using gardening tools and equipment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
