We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Laundry Supervisor to join our client’s dedicated hotel housekeeping team in Ketu, Kosofe. This pivotal role ensures the efficient and high-quality operation of the hotel laundry, directly impacting guest satisfaction through impeccable linen service. As a Laundry Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and pressing a wide array of hotel linens, uniforms, and guest items. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the laundry department, ensuring timely and efficient processing of all hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Inspect all processed laundry for quality, cleanliness, and proper finishing, ensuring adherence to hotel standards.
- Manage laundry inventory, including ordering supplies, chemicals, and equipment, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Operate and maintain all laundry machinery and equipment, performing minor troubleshooting and arranging for professional repairs as needed.
- Train and mentor laundry staff on proper washing techniques, chemical handling, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Develop and implement efficient work schedules for the laundry team to ensure adequate coverage and productivity.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the laundry area.
- Handle guest requests and complaints regarding laundry services professionally and promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of laundry production, chemical usage, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure seamless operation and communication between departments.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in laundry operations, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of various laundry chemicals, detergents, and stain removal techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial laundry equipment operation and basic maintenance.

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in varying temperatures.
