Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team in Mushin, Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing goods within our warehouse. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing directly to the success of our business. Daily responsibilities will include the unloading and loading of shipments, managing inventory, organizing stock, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment and assisting with occasional stocktakes.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and checking incoming shipments against delivery notes
- Properly storing and organizing inventory in designated areas
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading trucks and other delivery vehicles
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc., training provided)
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock management
- Following all safety procedures and regulations
- Working collaboratively with the warehouse team
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
Required Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (inventory management systems)
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow instructions carefully
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Valid driver's license is a plus
