Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications and systems.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure defects are resolved in a timely manner.
- Participate in requirements reviews, design discussions, and code reviews to provide quality input.
- Implement and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks where applicable.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide clear and concise status reports on testing activities and defect trends.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
