Key Responsibilities
- Perform a comprehensive range of hair styling services, including cuts, colours, highlights, blow-dries, and treatments, catering to diverse client needs and preferences.
- Deliver professional beauty therapy treatments such as facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, and massages.
- Consult with clients to assess their needs, recommend appropriate services and products, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation and salon environment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
- Manage client bookings, scheduling, and payment processing accurately and efficiently.
- Actively promote and upsell salon products and services to enhance the client experience and drive sales.
- Stay informed about new trends, products, and techniques in the beauty and hair industry through continuous learning and training.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, fostering loyalty and encouraging repeat business.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth salon operations and a positive work atmosphere.
- Handle client feedback and complaints professionally, striving for positive resolutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist and Hair Stylist in a professional salon setting.
- Demonstrable expertise in a variety of hair cutting, colouring, and styling techniques.
- Proficiency in performing diverse beauty treatments (e.g., facials, waxing, nails).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A valid qualification/certificate in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and product lines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Portfolio showcasing previous hair styling and beauty work.
