Career.supersecrets is seeking dedicated and robust Seasonal Date Pickers to join our team for the upcoming harvest season in the legendary Liwa Oasis, Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities
- Carefully climb date palm trees (using provided safety equipment and guidance) to access date clusters.
- Methodically select and harvest ripe dates, ensuring minimal damage to the fruit and palm.
- Transport harvested dates from the palms to collection points with care and efficiency.
- Assist with preliminary sorting and quality inspection of dates, discarding any damaged or unripe fruit.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines for working at heights and handling agricultural equipment.
- Work collaboratively with a team, supporting fellow pickers to achieve daily harvest targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the harvesting areas and surrounding farm premises.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify ripe, high-quality dates.
