Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, macchiato, etc.) according to hotel standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary coffee bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Monitor and manage coffee bean and supply inventory, reporting needs to management.
- Educate guests on coffee bean selections, roasting methods, and brewing techniques.
- Ensure consistency in quality, presentation, and taste of all beverages served.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold the hotel's high service standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista, preferably in a hotel or high-volume coffee shop setting.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment operation.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for crafting beautiful beverages.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a recognized Barista training program.
- Experience with latte art techniques.
- Knowledge of different coffee origins and flavor profiles.
