Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
- Organise and store stock efficiently and safely within the stock room, following established protocols for product placement and rotation.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised stock room at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Process stock transfers and prepare outgoing shipments, accurately picking and packing items as required.
- Support the sales floor team by replenishing stock and ensuring products are readily available for customers.
- Conduct regular stock counts and participate in inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely and responsibly, such as pallet jacks or trolleys (training provided if necessary).
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operational flow between the stock room and the sales floor.
