Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Freelance Event Planner with specialized expertise in both wedding and corporate event management to join our dynamic network. As a freelance event planner, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide array of events, ranging from elegant weddings and intimate celebrations to high-profile corporate conferences, product launches, and gala dinners.

You will work independently on projects, managing all facets from initial client consultation and budget formulation to vendor negotiation, logistical coordination, and on-site execution. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their vision, objectives, and budgetary constraints for both wedding and corporate events.
- Develop comprehensive event proposals, including theme concepts, decor ideas, vendor recommendations, and detailed cost breakdowns.
- Manage event budgets meticulously, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and maintained within agreed-upon limits.
- Source, negotiate, and coordinate with a wide range of vendors (caterers, venues, photographers, florists, entertainment, technical support, etc.) to secure the best services and rates.
- Design and implement creative event layouts, decor schemes, and logistical plans that align with the client's brand or personal style.
- Oversee all aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations and swift problem resolution on-site.
- Manage guest lists, RSVPs, seating arrangements, and other administrative tasks as required by the specific event.
- Provide regular updates and transparent communication to clients throughout the planning process.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and preparing reports to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in full-cycle event planning for both weddings and corporate events
- Exceptional budget management and financial acumen
