Key Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other forms of payment, ensuring accurate change and transaction reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised checkout area at all times.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service, assisting with inquiries and resolving minor issues.
- Promote store loyalty programs, special offers, and new products to customers.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, reporting any discrepancies.
- Assist with restocking shelves, pricing, and general store tidiness as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding transactions, security, and customer service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping environment.
- Identify and report potential security risks or suspicious activities to management.

- Proven ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
