Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Replenish guest room supplies and amenities such as towels, toiletries, and complimentary items.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, hallways, and common spaces as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards in guest rooms or public areas promptly to the appropriate department.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries in a polite and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all assigned rooms are cleaned and prepared according to schedule.
- Maintain a polite, courteous, and professional demeanor with guests and fellow team members at all times.
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens, when required.
- Inspect rooms for any lost and found items and follow proper procedures for their handling.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, pushing, and standing for extended periods.
