As a freelance Photographer partnered with Career.supersecrets, you’ll be responsible for the full spectrum of photographic services, from pre-production planning and on-site execution to post-production editing and delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand project requirements, vision, and desired outcomes for both event and commercial assignments.
- Plan and prepare for shoots, including scouting locations, arranging equipment, and developing shot lists.
- Execute on-site photography with professionalism and creativity, adapting to varying environments and unexpected challenges.
- Operate and maintain professional-grade cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and other accessories.
- Conduct thorough post-production editing, including culling, color correction, retouching, and cropping, using industry-standard software.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-resolution, edited images to clients, adhering to agreed-upon deadlines.
- Manage and organize digital assets, maintaining a comprehensive archive of work.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, representing Career.supersecrets positively in all client interactions.
- Stay updated with photography trends, techniques, and equipment advancements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Event and/or Commercial Photographer (minimum 3 years)
- Expertise in operating professional DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and associated equipment
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other photo editing software
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques (natural, artificial, studio)
- Excellent composition and framing skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent image quality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Reliable personal transportation for on-site assignments
Preferred Qualifications
- A compelling online portfolio showcasing a diverse range of event and commercial work
- Experience with videography or drone photography is a plus
- Formal training or certification in photography or a related visual arts field
