Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of hair services including cutting, styling, colouring, treatments, and extensions with precision and creativity.
- Deliver various beauty treatments such as facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, lash extensions, and makeup application.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their needs, recommend suitable services and products, and ensure a personalised experience.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation and salon environment, adhering strictly to health and safety standards.
- Proactively build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional service and client relationship management.
- Stay updated with the latest beauty and hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge through continuous learning and training.
- Manage client appointments efficiently and accurately, utilising salon booking systems.
- Actively participate in salon promotional activities and contribute to marketing initiatives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior stylists and therapists, fostering a collaborative team spirit.
- Uphold the salon's brand image and provide outstanding customer service at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Beauty Therapist and Hair Stylist in a professional salon setting.
- Demonstrable expertise in a wide range of hair cutting, colouring, and styling techniques.
- Proficiency in performing diverse beauty treatments (facials, waxing, nails, lashes).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong client-centric approach.
- A valid qualification/certificate in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sales acumen for product recommendations and service upsells.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanour.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
