Key Responsibilities
- Assisting qualified plumbers with various installations, maintenance, and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings.
- Learning to identify and troubleshoot common plumbing issues under direct supervision.
- Preparing work areas, including gathering and organising tools, materials, and equipment.
- Cutting, bending, and joining pipes using various methods and materials (e.g., copper, plastic).
- Installing and repairing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
- Understanding and strictly adhering to health and safety regulations on all job sites.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and company vehicles.
- Shadowing experienced plumbers to learn best practices, advanced techniques, and effective problem-solving strategies.
- Transporting materials and equipment safely to and from job sites.
- Communicating effectively and professionally with team members, clients, and suppliers (under supervision).
- Performing basic administrative tasks, such as recording materials used and completing job sheets.
