Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations when appropriate.
- Accurately take customer orders using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and prompt removal of used dishes and cutlery.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating to management when necessary.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions.
- Assist with restocking condiments, napkins, and other dining area essentials.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Assist in general restaurant cleaning duties as assigned.
Required Skills
