Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the receiving, unloading, and inspection of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against packing lists.
- Support the proper storage and organization of inventory within the warehouse, optimizing space utilization.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to client specifications and prepare them for dispatch.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain precise stock records, identifying discrepancies.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided, if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets and resolve logistics challenges.
- Perform administrative tasks related to warehouse operations, including data entry and documentation.
- Report any damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent (SSCE/GCE/NECO)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages (up to 25kg).
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory management.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
