Elan World is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Construction Supervisor to oversee critical site operations for our prestigious projects in the bustling Lekki Phase 1/Victoria Island area. This is a pivotal role that requires an individual with a strong foundation in construction methodologies, exceptional leadership qualities, and an unwavering commitment to project success. Key Responsibilities
- Directly supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor work progress, manage daily schedules, and allocate resources (manpower, materials, equipment) efficiently.
- Enforce strict health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Perform quality control checks on all completed work, ensuring compliance with architectural and engineering drawings, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve on-site issues and optimize workflows.
- Prepare daily progress reports, document site activities, and maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed.
- Train, mentor, and motivate site personnel, fostering a cohesive and productive team.
- Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, storage, and waste management.
- Identify potential problems and implement proactive solutions to prevent delays or cost overruns.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to unforeseen challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder interaction.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety protocols on construction sites.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., COREN registration, PMP).

- Experience with luxury residential or high-rise commercial project construction.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
