Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily feeding and watering routines for poultry flocks, strictly following established schedules and dietary guidelines.
- Perform manual and automated egg collection, ensuring proper handling, sorting, grading, and storage to maintain quality.
- Routinely monitor flock health, accurately identify signs of illness, injury, or distress, and promptly report findings to the farm manager.
- Administer prescribed medications, vitamins, or vaccines under direct supervision and in strict accordance with veterinary instructions.
- Manage poultry litter effectively, including regular turning, cleaning, and replacing as necessary to ensure optimal hygiene and bird comfort.
- Operate and conduct basic maintenance on essential farm machinery and equipment, such as feed dispensers, ventilation systems, and egg collection belts.
- Strictly adhere to and enforce all biosecurity protocols to prevent the introduction and spread of diseases.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect poultry houses, equipment, and other farm areas on a regular basis.
- Assist with chick placement, brooding procedures, and the organized movement of birds between different housing units.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of feed consumption, egg production, mortality rates, and treatment logs.
- Participate actively in general farm maintenance and repair tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in poultry husbandry and commercial farm operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of poultry health, disease recognition, and preventive measures.
- Proficiency in operating and performing basic maintenance on various farm equipment.
- Strong understanding and strict adherence to biosecurity principles and practices.
- Exceptional physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks in diverse weather conditions.
- Acute observation skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Competency in basic record-keeping and data logging.

Preferred Qualifications
