Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome patients and visitors to the clinic, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments efficiently.
- Answer and direct incoming calls professionally, addressing inquiries, and relaying messages accurately.
- Register new patients and update existing patient demographic and insurance information with precision.
- Process patient payments, manage billing inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain the waiting area in a tidy and organized manner, ensuring patient comfort.
- Prepare and maintain patient charts and electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Liaise with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely communication of delays or changes.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails.
- Provide general administrative support to the clinic team, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information and clinic records.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and clinic management software.
