Job Description
RAK Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our esteemed multidisciplinary team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to patients across various age groups. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations using a range of standardized tools and clinical interviews.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based psychological principles.
- Provide a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and family therapy, to individuals, couples, and groups.
- Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, neurologists, social workers, and other medical specialists to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in accordance with professional and hospital standards.
- Participate in regular case conferences, clinical supervision, and continuous professional development activities.
- Conduct psychoeducational workshops and awareness programs for patients, families, and hospital staff on mental health topics.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures related to mental health services.
- Respond to mental health crises and provide appropriate interventions or referrals as needed.
- Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes.
Required Skills
- Proficient in psychological assessment and diagnostic formulation.
- Expertise in delivering evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Holders of DHA/HAAD/MOH license or eligibility for licensure in UAE.

- Specialized training in trauma-informed care or specific therapeutic modalities.
