Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior auditors and accountants with various aspects of audit engagements, from planning to completion.
- Prepare working papers and documentation for audit files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with auditing standards.
- Perform data entry, reconciliations, and analysis of financial information.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and other statutory returns for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to request necessary information and clarify queries under supervision.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax legislation, and auditing best practices.
- Contribute to administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth team operations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training initiatives.
Required Skills
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting or equivalent diploma (completed or nearing completion).
- Strong academic record demonstrating proficiency in accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
