Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks (e.g., espresso, cappuccino, latte, macchiato) according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and process payments efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, notifying management of low stock levels.
- Educate guests on our coffee offerings, promoting specials and suggesting pairings.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist with other café duties as needed, including light food preparation or serving pastries.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and guest confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience in a café, restaurant, or hotel setting.
- Proven ability to operate espresso machines and coffee grinders with proficiency.
