Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, bricklayers, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Perform general site cleanup and waste removal.
- Assist with the pouring and finishing of concrete.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Carry out other labouring duties as directed by the site foreman or supervisor.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg) and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions diligently.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of site safety procedures (or eagerness to learn immediately).
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- No formal qualifications or prior experience required.
