Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport hotel guests to various destinations, including airport transfers, local excursions, and inter-city travel.
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained vehicle at all times, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere strictly to all Rwandan traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist guests with luggage handling and provide courteous, professional service.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and service schedules.
- Communicate effectively with hotel management and guests, ensuring clear understanding of travel plans.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide helpful information about the local area when appropriate.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the utmost safety of passengers and vehicle.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or incidents promptly to management.
Required Skills
- Valid Rwandan driving license (Category B minimum, D preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in private transport or hospitality.
- Excellent knowledge of Rusizi, Western Province, and key routes across Rwanda.
- Strong command of Kinyarwanda and English; French is a plus.
- Impeccable driving record with no major accidents or violations.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- High degree of punctuality, reliability, and discretion.
