Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided vehicles for the delivery and pickup of goods within Kwali, Abuja, and surrounding areas.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure the security of goods during transit and maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions, representing GIG Logistics professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and driving regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned vehicle.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages as required.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and digital logs accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable professional driving experience (logistics/delivery preferred)
- Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations or accidents.
- Excellent knowledge of Kwali, Abuja routes, and surrounding areas.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to handle packages and lift up to 25 kg.
- High level of responsibility and reliability.
