Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage bespoke investment portfolios for a diverse range of private clients, trusts, and corporate entities.
- Conduct thorough market research and financial analysis to identify suitable investment opportunities and manage risk effectively.
- Monitor and review client portfolios regularly, making proactive adjustments in line with market conditions, client goals, and risk profiles.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing regular updates, strategic advice, and comprehensive financial reviews.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant financial regulations, internal policies, and industry standards (e.g., FCA rules, MiFID II).
- Prepare detailed investment reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with financial planners and other professional advisors within Armstrong Watson to provide integrated client solutions.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the firm's investment proposition, research capabilities, and thought leadership.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in investment management, including portfolio construction and asset allocation.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of various asset classes, financial markets, and investment products.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and explaining complex financial concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in investment analysis software and wealth management platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar, eFront).

Preferred Qualifications
- CFA Charterholder or working towards it.
- CISI Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) or equivalent Level 4/6 qualification (e.g., CISI Masters in Wealth Management).
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
