Job Description
Precise Media Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team in Port Harcourt. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating engaging and visually appealing video content for various platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of video editing techniques, post-production workflows, and storytelling principles. You will be responsible for editing various video formats, including corporate videos, commercials, social media content, and documentaries. You’ll collaborate closely with our production team, contributing your expertise to deliver exceptional video projects that meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Editing various video formats (corporate videos, commercials, social media content, documentaries)
- Collaborating with the production team to develop creative video concepts
- Maintaining a high level of quality in all video editing projects
- Meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Working effectively with clients and providing excellent customer service
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
- Participating in creative brainstorming sessions and providing input on video projects
Required Skills
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques and post-production workflows
- Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience with color correction and grading
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a video editor
- Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video editing projects
- Experience working with various video formats and aspect ratios
- Familiarity with audio editing software (e.g., Audition, Logic Pro)
