Access Bank Plc is seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual to join our facilities management team as a Bank Cleaner – Building Maintenance (Evening Duty) for our branch located in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos. This is a critical full-time, on-site role responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and general upkeep of our banking premises after regular business hours. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of all internal areas of the bank premises, including banking halls, offices, meeting rooms, staff areas, and restrooms.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies (toilet paper, soap, hand towels) are always available.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of refuse in designated areas according to bank policy and environmental guidelines.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and glass partitions to maintain a polished appearance.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas regularly, such as doorknobs, light switches, and public counters.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting shortages or repair needs to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and bank security protocols at all times.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks as required, such as changing light bulbs or reporting faulty equipment.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly stored and maintained after use.
- Work effectively and efficiently during evening hours to ensure the branch is ready for opening the next business day.
Required Skills
