Key Responsibilities
- Perform tire inspections, rotations, balancing, and mounting for various types of vehicles.
- Repair punctures and other tire damage accurately and safely, following industry best practices.
- Inspect tires for wear and tear, advising customers on necessary replacements or services.
- Operate tire service equipment, including tire changers, balancers, and air compressors, proficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Document all services performed, including parts used and labor time, accurately.
- Adhere to all safety standards and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist customers with tire-related inquiries, providing clear explanations and recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with other technicians and service advisors to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on new tire technologies, products, and service techniques through ongoing training.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar automotive service role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in operating tire service equipment (e.g., tire changers, balancers).
- Understanding of tire specifications, types, and their impact on vehicle performance.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy tires.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid UAE driving license (manual preferred).
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
