Shoprite Nigeria is actively seeking a dedicated Cleaner for our Office Facilities, specifically for a day shift, at our vibrant Sangotedo, Lekki location. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will play a crucial part in ensuring our administrative and operational office spaces are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep of offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, and common areas, contributing significantly to a healthy, productive, and welcoming environment for our staff. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily general cleaning duties of office facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies (e.g., soap, toilet paper, paper towels).
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors within the office premises.
- Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, including desks, tables, and countertops.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained, cleaned, and stored properly after use.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed to the facility manager promptly.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures at all times.
- Manage cleaning supplies inventory and request new stock as needed to ensure continuous operation.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or events as required by management.
Required Skills
- Proven physical stamina and ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks, ensuring no area is overlooked.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility towards assigned duties.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage for effective and safe cleaning.

Preferred Qualifications
