Job Description
Eko Hotels & Suites is seeking a diligent and energetic Cleaner to join our dedicated Room Service team for the morning shift. This pivotal role involves ensuring the pristine cleanliness and impeccable presentation of our guest rooms and suites, directly contributing to our guests’ comfort and satisfaction. As a Room Service Cleaner, you will be responsible for a range of cleaning tasks, from making beds and tidying spaces to deep cleaning bathrooms and replenishing amenities, all while adhering to the highest hygiene standards.
The morning shift schedule requires an early start, focusing on preparing rooms for new arrivals and maintaining the cleanliness of occupied rooms. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in assigned guest rooms and suites, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and cleaning mirrors.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks, and replenishing toiletries.
- Restock room amenities such as fresh towels, linens, mini-bar items (if applicable), and stationery.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to hotel cleaning protocols, health and safety guidelines, and infection control standards.
- Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned rooms within the stipulated morning shift timeframe.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor towards guests and colleagues at all times.
- Collect and dispose of waste and recycling appropriately.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 20 lbs), and standing for extended periods.
