Access Bank Plc is seeking a highly professional, reliable, and experienced Staff Driver to join our dynamic team in Surulere, Lagos. This crucial role involves providing safe, efficient, and punctual private transport services to our executives, senior staff members, and occasionally, high-profile clients, ensuring their comfort and security during commutes. As a Staff Driver, you will be an integral part of our corporate operations, responsible for maintaining a high standard of professionalism and discretion at all times. Your daily duties will extend beyond merely driving; you will be entrusted with the care and maintenance of assigned company vehicles, ensuring they are always in immaculate condition, both mechanically and aesthetically.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport executives, staff, and clients to their destinations as scheduled.
- Maintain the assigned company vehicle in excellent condition, ensuring cleanliness, proper fueling, and routine maintenance checks (oil, water, tires, brakes, lights).
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and report any malfunctions or defects promptly.
- Plan and execute efficient routes, considering traffic patterns, road conditions, and passenger schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies and procedures.
- Keep accurate and detailed logbooks of mileage, fuel consumption, routes taken, and maintenance records.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or other items as required.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding passengers, conversations, and company information.
- Respond promptly and courteously to transport requests and adapt to changes in schedules or routes with flexibility.
- Coordinate with the Fleet Management team for scheduled servicing and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Represent the company with professionalism, discretion, and a positive demeanor at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E/F preferred for corporate vehicles)
- Minimum of 3 years of proven professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment
- Extensive knowledge of Lagos road networks, shortcuts, and traffic patterns
- Strong defensive driving skills and a clean driving record
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting common issues
- High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE/WASSCE)
- Certification in Defensive Driving or Advanced Driving Techniques

- Ability to read and write simple reports and maintain accurate records
