Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems, ensuring all documents are accurately categorized, stored, and easily retrievable.
- Draft, proofread, and format a variety of legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision and attention to detail.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including answering phones, managing emails, and distributing mail, while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and court dates for legal professionals, managing calendars efficiently.
- Maintain office supplies inventory, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks and expense tracking, as required.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all client and firm information.
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and other legal staff as needed, anticipating their requirements.
